Download or convert a Tide statement to CSV

Tide can export transactions as CSV and statements as PDF. Use the PDF route when you need balances, or older months in one clean file.

CSV from the Tide app or web

In Tide, filter the transactions you need, then export and choose a CSV type; the options include a standard CSV with the running balance for cleared transactions only. This is a list of transactions, not an official statement.

PDF statements

Monthly statements are issued in the app on the 4th of the following month. For a custom range you can request a PDF: per Tide’s help centre, each document covers up to 6 months, the end date must be at least 3 days ago, and statements over 2,000 transactions are sent by secure link. Check the help centre for current limits.

Converting the PDF

Drop the PDF here for a spreadsheet, QBO or OFX file with the opening and closing balance checked. This is handy when the CSV window is too short or your accountant wants a QuickBooks or Xero import file.

How to do it

  1. Download Tide PDF statements from Statements and documents, or export CSV from the transactions screen.
  2. Drop the PDF (or CSV) above.
  3. Check the balance badge, then export Excel, CSV, QBO or OFX.

Excel and CSV are free for up to 5 pages a day. QuickBooks, Xero and OFX files and batch conversion are on paid plans, from a $9 one-off pass: see pricing or go back to the converter.
