PDF bank statement to CSV, converted on your device

Get a clean CSV with Date, Description, Money in, Money out, Amount and Balance columns, ready for Excel, Google Sheets or your accounting import.

A CSV your import screen accepts

One row per transaction, a single header row, ISO or US/UK date formats, plain numbers without currency symbols or thousands separators, and UTF-8 encoding. Descriptions that start with = + - or @ are escaped, so the file cannot run formulas when opened in a spreadsheet.

Balance-checked before you export

If a row was misread, the running balance stops matching and the row turns red. Fix the value in the editor and the check updates instantly.

How to do it

  1. Drop a PDF statement above.
  2. Pick a date format: MM/DD/YYYY, DD/MM/YYYY or YYYY-MM-DD.
  3. Download CSV.

Excel and CSV are free for up to 5 pages a day. QuickBooks, Xero and OFX files and batch conversion are on paid plans, from a $9 one-off pass: see pricing or go back to the converter.

Questions

Can I merge several statements into one CSV?

Yes, on paid plans. Drop a whole year of statements and tick "Merge into one file". Transactions that appear in two overlapping statements are kept only once.

Is my statement uploaded anywhere?

No. The PDF is read by JavaScript in your browser. For paid plans RowBalance only receives the number of pages converted, so it can count your allowance.
